To place your announcment in The Kansas City Star, you may go directly to www.kansascity.com/living/occasions. You will find all the forms you need under either “Complimentary” which are free with no picture and basic information, or “Expanded” which include a picture. Here you will also find costs and other information. If you prefer, you may also send the following information to celebrations@kcstar.com.
-Name
-Address
-Daytime phone number 
-The announcement written as you would like it to appear in the paper
-The Sunday you would prefer it to run (must be at least 2 weeks deadline);
-A separate jpg attachment for the picture. 

We will call you when we have received all the information, and ask for a credit card payment from you at this time.

Along with publishing your exciting news in The Kansas City Star, you will also receive your own online page for sharing your unique story with family and friends. Along with your announcement, your page can include details about the big day and how you met, photos, a guest book and links to gift registries.
